So, Robin and I went out on Saturday morning and we stopped at the Alpaca farm in Easttown Township, not too far from our house in Chester County. We missed the birthing of an Alpaca calf by about 30 minutes. The 1st picture is of him (or her) in the grass. The patch on it’s side is still from the birthing. The second picture is of a little nuzzle either by one of the herd, or the Mom. We weren’t sure since we didn’t witness the actual birth. The next picture show’s the little guy attempting to stand for the 1st steps. The next 2 pictures show the little guy just wandering and the herd keeping an eye on him. Was really amazing to watch his efforts to walk.
